Adjustment...

People have told me its hard to adjust when adding children to your family and for the most part I tend to agree. I thought hannah was pretty prepared for Peter, since I had been a babysitter and she had to share my attention. But I think sharing with another two year old who will play with you and sharing with a baby who just occupies mommy's time are two different things. She copes well until the afternoon and then everyone loses it. She wants attention, and Peter just wants to eat all afternoon and there is only one of me.
I feel bad that I can't be the same mom ii was to hannah to either one of them. The truth is, it is just me and I think they understand. They may not like it but I think being there helps.
I was talking to a friend yesterday about this which is why i'm bringing it up. I need to remember to just do my best on any given day and they will turn out ok in the end...

Besides having a sibling is awesome! :)

We did it!

So we've added more to our little big family! Welcome Peter Frank Stewart! 10lbs 10 oz 22 in born aug 10 at 6:38 pm!!

Hurry up already!

So here i am in week whatever with 30-something days to go (i hope) of being pregnant and i am so over this. With Hannah, i remember being so excited for all the new developments! Like my tummy getting bigger, kicking, maybe my belly button popping... you know the good stuff! Unfortunately, this time around is not nearly as exciting and while i love to feel him kicking, i would be incredibly nice if i didn't get it to the lungs every time i try to go to sleep! And it probably doesn't help that everyone just had their babies and i go to visit and get my baby fix when really i just want my own!  okay... end rant.

But seriously, can you hurry up already?

This is hannah as a brand spanking new baby, so cute. We went to visit a friend today who, to my surprise, had a baby about hannah's size! And it was totally awesome remembering how small she used to be... Not the case anymore! let me tell you!

Now we are about the size of some 4 and 5 year olds and we talk just as well too! Despite her stubbornness and her constant need to tell me "i can do it by myself!" I think i could get used to "big girl hannah". Especially the potty trained :) I'm researching how to potty train the little boy in my tummy and he hasn't even gotten out yet! We'll see if i can't get out of diapers earlier then i did with Hannah! wouldn't that save a bundle... But once i again i have to wait... patience was never my strong suit and i'm pretty sure Heavenly Father is working on that with me. So waiting game it is!

But seriously baby boy... any chance you could move down and at least give me hope of an early delivery? Maybe? no... well it was worth a shot. :)

Slackers! but cute ones...

Such slackers! That's what we are... In our own defense though, we moved and have finally decided internet is actually a need and not just a want. Especially with both of us in school, it just makes life a bit easier. But even if we are slackers at least we take good photos! This is from our family photo session in Oct. And most of you have seen it on facebook or in the mail or whatever but i wanted to post something and this was it! Besides, i like it :)

Hannah is even bigger now and she has some more hair then when this was taken. We found a picture of David when he was 3 and holy moly. They look exactly the same. No joke. People tell me that Hannah looks alot like her daddy but it has always been hard for me to see past the obvious hair differences. But looking at his toddler picture they do look exactly the same. But she has my nose. Crazy. We measured her on the chart we have and she's getting so tall! 38" and she can ride the merry-go-round at fairyland all by herself. Of which she is very proud i must say.

The rest of us are about the same. As far as i know neither david or i has gotten any taller or grown more hair... I fact i have no idea how i'm not bald with how much comes out in the shower! it's crazy! Okay enough crazy talk, i should just end this.
